My fellow citizens,

Thank you for visiting my campaign website! As I work not only for your vote and support, I also want to express how much I am honored to have the opportunity to represent you in the future.

A political science professor of mine told my class that, "if you don't like the way you are being represented by those in office; either vote for the other candidate or run yourself". With that thought in mind, I decided that I could represent the people the way they desire to be represented.

For those of us that live in Indianapolis, we have seen some of our best paying manufacturing jobs leave with nothing to replace them except extremely low paying jobs. We have seen our property taxes get so high that people are being forced from their homes and businesses are closing. We have seen our public safety become perverted into one man's private army where coverage and police morale is low while crime in our great city has increased to where not even someone can pump gas at their local gas station without becoming a victim. Small business in our city is suffering from thieves stealing from their establishments. Our jails are overcrowded as a result of the revolving door in the justice system when we should look for a solution to reform instead of incarcerate.

While we look for solutions to solve our growing environmental crisis, Indiana sits on a treasure trove of renewable, clean resources, yet we are not utilizing them to their full potential and only beginning to lead the way to discover or develop these new resources. We also need to bring more high paying technical jobs to Indiana instead of letting them be outsourced by corporations to countries who have sent us goods containing dangerous poisons. These are things that I plan to help change once in the Indiana General Assembly because I don't like how things have been run and I plan on changing it.

Most voters look at politics with more scrutiny now more than ever. With the critical issues that we face today, we need leaders who can relate to the general public, find out what the people desire, and truly represent them while in office. Since my days in student government, I have always represented my student constituents in their best interest with their input. As your representative, I will do the same and make these promises to you:

To constantly and consistently keep you informed on the issues we face.
To always get your opinions and suggestions to better serve you.
To allow you to vote for or against upcoming bills before they come up for vote on the floor.
To always have the people's interest in mind before my own.
To not be influenced by special interest groups in order to push their agenda's ahead of those of the people.
